Intro: Start off with a pencil sketch. In the beginning stages, don’t press down too hard. Use light, smooth strokes for sketching.

Step 1: Before drawing the cornucopia, draw a small pumpkin . First draw a small rectangular shape for the stem. Below the stem , draw a circular shape for the actual pumpkin. Add a few small, curved lines at the top and bottom of the shape for the indentations on the pumpkin. Add a couple of curved lines inside the shape for extra detail.

Step 2: Now draw another popular autumn food: corn. To the left, lightly sketch a thin oval-like shape for an ear of corn. On the right side of the oval, draw the corn's husks as a couple of curved lines. Darken the left side and add a series of curved, intersecting lines inside to represent kernels.

Step 7: Above the corn, draw a series of small, circular shapes for grapes. First draw the outer edge of the grape bunch that extends from the corn to the gourd. Then inside, draw a series of small overlapping half- circles for the individual grapes.

Step 8: Above the grapes, draw a second apple the same way as the first apple but this time give the stem a small leaf.

Step 9: To the left of the corn, draw three small circles for tomatoes. The tomato in the back should be bigger and only the top part should show. At the top of each tomato, draw a shape similar to a star for the stem.

Step 10: High above the tomatoes, draw a few short, curved lines for the top of another pumpkin. The stem at the top consists of two vertical lines with a hexagonal shape at the top. Add the shape of the pumpkin using curved lines. Don't overlap the grapes and tomatoes. Draw a few lines inside to emphasize the shape of the pumpkin.

Step 13: Lightly draw a curved line from the small pumpkin to the big one for the cornucopia's opening. When you get this line right, darken it. The shape should be similar to a half-circle. Add an extra curved line to make the base of the cornucopia thick.

Step 14: Draw a line that starts at the first pumpkin and then curves up for the lower edge of the horn. Add another curved line on the left side to complete the cornucopia. Notice how the tip curls forward.

Step 15: Add a few lines to the base of the cornucopia for extra detail. Draw a few intersecting lines inside the horn to give a wicker- like texture. You can draw the lines across the whole shape or just a few on the sides to represent texture.

Step 16: Draw a few more shapes inside the ring to fill out the inside of the cornucopia too.

Step 17: Below everything, draw a few leaves as extra detail on the autumn theme. Use jagged lines for maple-like leaves and oval- like shapes for regular leaves. Add a series of lines inside the leaves for their veins. You can skip the leaves if your cornucopia is starting to get crowded. You can also add your favorite fall fruits and veggies that aren't pictured here. It's up to you!

Step 18: Using a pen or marker, carefully go over the lines to make your cornucopia drawing permanent. After inking, get rid of every pencil mark with an eraser.

Final Step: Color your cornucopia drawing using color pencils, markers or crayons! Use red for the tomatoes and cherries. Add brown to the middle of the sunflowers and a bit on the horn. Use yellow for the corn and light green for the husks. Then use orange for the big pumpkin and brown for its stem. Color the sunflower petals yellow and the grapes purple. Use yellow-orange for the small pumpkin and brown for its stem. Use autumn colors like reds, browns and oranges for the rest of the fruit inside. Color the rest of the cornucopia brown. Don't overlap the fruit as you color the horn of plenty. Use yellow, brown and other fall colors to color the leaves. Don't forget to pause the video to draw at your own pace.
