To draw Fortnite's Ikonik step by step, follow the step-by-step drawings below. The new lines in each step are shown in red, and each step is explained in the text below the photo, so you'll know exactly what to draw in each step. Take your time and draw at your own pace.

 

Intro: Start off with a pencil sketch. In the beginning stages, don’t press down too hard. Use light, smooth strokes for sketching.

 

 

Step 1: Draw a big circle as a guide for the top part of iKONIK's head. If you're struggling to draw the circle, just trace the outer rim of a small, circular object like a coin or a lid.

 

Step 2: Below the circle, draw a curved line for the lower part of Ikonik's head. This line should be similar to the letter U.

Step 3: Draw two intersecting lines across the entire head as guides to help you place iKONIK's facial features later. The horizontal line should curve, and it should be very close to the bottom edge of the circle.

 

That's it for the guides! For the next steps, use darker lines for a more defined drawing of this Fortnite character.

Step 4: For Ikonik's eyes, draw two oval-like shapes directly on top of the horizontal construction line. The sides of the eyes should be pointy. Pay attention to the size of the eyes in relation to the rest of Ikonik's head.

Step 5: Inside each eye, draw a small half-circle for iKONIK's irises. Inside each iris, off to the side, draw a tiny circle to represent glare or highlight. Inside each iris, at the top, draw a dot for the pupils.

 

Step 6: Draw Ikonik's hood opening as a big, curved line around the lower part of the head. The top of this line should be curved. Place it near the middle of the initial circle guide. The sides should be wider than the initial guide lines, especially the right side. The bottom should be thin and pointy.

Step 7: Inside the shape of the hood, above the eyes, draw a series of curved, spike-like lines for the front part of Ikonik's hair or bangs. The hair should split on the left side. Don't draw each individual hair strand. Instead, draw thick, curved, V-shaped lines for the clumps of hair on this Fortnite character.

 

Step 8: Darken the initial U-shaped line to create iKONIK's jaw and chin. At the top, draw a horizontal, wavy line for the top part of the mask. Place this line along the lower edge of the initial circle guide.

Step 9: Between the hair, draw a couple of thick, long shapes for the visible part of Ikonik's eyebrows. Between the eyes, draw a couple of curved vertical lines for the bridge of the nose.

Step 10: Inside iKONIK's mask, near the top, draw a couple of curved lines that parallel the edge of the mask for the stitching. Inside the mask, on the right side, draw two long, curved, vertical lines for the red color separation, which you'll color in later on in this Fortnite drawing tutorial.

 

Step 11: Add the outer part of Ikonik's hood by drawing a big, curved line around the entire shape. The top part of the hood should be just above the initial circle guide. The sides of the hood should graze the sides of the initial circle and then get wider. The sides of Ikonik's hood should then curve down closer to the hood opening and end in a thin, curved shape.

 

Step 12: At the top of the hood, draw a curved line that parallels the hood opening for stitching. On the left side, draw two curved, vertical lines for the red color separation. Below the chin, draw a small V-shaped line for the visible part of iKONIK's neck. Below the hood, draw a couple of curved lines for the drawstrings. On the sides of the hood, draw a couple of short lines for a hint of iKONIK's shoulders.

Step 13: For a more finished look for iKONIK from Fortnite, carefully draw over the final sketch lines with a pen or marker.

 

Step 14: After inking iKONIK from Fortnite, get rid of every pencil mark with an eraser.

Final Step: Color your iKONIK drawing using color pencils, markers or crayons! Use black for the main part of the hoodie, the main part of the mask and the top of the hair. Use red for the stripe on the hoodie, the stripe on the mask, the drawstrings and the tips of the hair. Use peach for the skin. If you don't have peach, improvise and use yellow-orange or light brown. Color iKONIK's eyes brown but don't overlap the tiny glare circles. Now you have a completed drawing of iKONIK from Fortnite!
