Intro: When learning how to draw Isabella, start off with a pencil sketch. In the beginning stages, don’t press down too hard. Use light, smooth strokes for sketching.

 

Step 1: Start by drawing a shape similar to a half circle at the top of the page. Draw a U-shaped line, then a straight line over it. Or draw a straight line first and add a U-shaped line after. Don't worry about making it too perfect. It's just a guide that will help you learn how to draw Isabella's head later on.

 

Step 2: Next, draw two intersecting lines across the shape, one vertical and one horizontal. The vertical line should be closer to the left side, while the horizontal line should be near the middle. These will be construction lines that will help you when learning how to draw Isabella's facial features later on.

 

Step 3: Draw two small ovals as guides for Isabella's eyes. Draw them sitting on top of the horizontal construction line and on either side of the vertical construction line. The eye on the left should be a bit smaller because of perspective, and it should touch the border of the head.

 

Step 4: Underneath the head, draw a big triangle as a guide for Isabella's body. Draw the triangle taller than the height of the head.

 

Step 5: Draw two lines on the sides of the body as guides for Isabella's arms. The line on the left curves up toward the head. The line on the right curves down toward the bottom of the triangle. Draw a small circle at the end of each line as a guide for Isabella's hands.

Step 6: Draw the guides for Isabella's legs and feet under the body. The guides consist of two vertical lines under the triangle that have a small oval at each end for the feet.

 

Step 7: That’s it for the initial sketch! You have the basic shape of Isabella from Disney Channel's Phineas and Ferb. Now go in and tighten your drawing. When learning how to draw Isabella from this point on, press harder with your pencil in order to get darker lines and a more defined sketch.

 

Step 8: Now learn how to draw Isabella's eyes. Darken the circles in her head. Draw a small circle inside each eye as a guide for her pupils. Inside each, pupil draw an even smaller circle to represent glare. On the top edge of each eye, draw two small lines for her eyelashes.

 

Step 9: Now learn how to draw Isabella's nose and mouth. Above horizontal construction line, draw a tiny angled line similar to a caret (^) for Isabella's nose. Underneath the horizontal construction line, draw a long curved line for the top of Isabella's mouth.

 

Step 10: Draw another curved line under the first for the bottom part of Isabella's mouth. Inside the shape, draw another line on top for the teeth and a curved one at the bottom for her tongue.

Step 11: Draw the arm on the right using the line and circle as guides. Draw a bell-like shape at the top of Isabella's arm for her shirt sleeve. Follow the path of the line and thicken up the shape for her arm. Draw a few curved lines at the bottom of the circle for her fingers.

 

Step 12: Now learn how to draw Isabella's dress. Use the big triangle as a guide to draw it. Darken the outline of the triangle for the sides and bottom of the dress. Draw a U-shaped line at the top for the dress collar.

 

Step 13: Add the neck under Isabella's head and a small horizontal line inside the neck for the undershirt's collar. Draw the belt inside the shape of the dress using a series of lines and a half circle for the buckle. Add a few small lines under the belt for the pleats on the dress.

 

Step 14: Draw the arm on the left side by using the initial line as a guide. Draw the shirt sleeve on the right side of the line. Follow the path of the line as you make the arm thicker. Draw a few curved lines at the ends of the circle for Isabella's fingers and thumb.

 

Step 15: Now learn how to draw Isabella's hair. Her hair is a bit trick,y so it's divided into three parts. First draw the top and sides of the hair by following the path of her head at the top and adding long, curved lines on the sides of her body all the way down to her belt.

Step 16: Now draw Isabella's bangs on the front as two curved lines above her eyes. Add the inside of the hair on the right side of the face. Draw her face, too, using the initial half circle as a guide.

 

Step 17: Finish up drawing Isabella's hair by adding a few curved lines inside the shape as extra detail.

 

Step 18: On top of Isabella's head, draw a big bow using a couple of triangle-like lines on the sides and a curved line in the middle.

 

Step 19: Now learn how to draw Isabella's legs. Draw the right leg and foot under the body by using the original lines as guides. Thicken up the shape of the leg as you follow the path of the line. Use the oval at the bottom as a guide to draw this Phineas and Ferb character's shoes. Draw a few lines inside the shoe for extra detail and a line near the middle of the leg for the sock.

 

Step 20: Draw the left leg the same way. Thicken up the line, then draw the details on the shoe and sock.

Step 21: That’s it! You now have a nice sketch of Isabella from Disney Channel's Phineas and Ferb. You can stop at this quick drawing for a rough, sketchy look, or continue to the step below to go for a more finished look.

 

Step 22: For a more finished, inked look, carefully draw over the final sketch lines with a pen or marker. Wait for the ink to dry, and then erase your pencil marks. Final Step: For a completely finished Isabella drawing, you have to color it. You can use anything you want: markers, color pencils or even crayons! Color Isabella's hair black. The detail lines of her hair are dark blue, as well as her eyes. Isabella's bow, dress, shoes and tongue are pink. Her belt is a dark pink, almost red, along with the inside of her mouth. Her skin is peach, but if you don't have peach, improvise and use pink or light brown. That’s it! You now have a completed drawing of Isabella from Disney's Phineas and Ferb.
