Step 11: Above the shoulder, draw a short, sloping line for the shirt collar. Below the collar, draw a very long, curved line for the back. Add a shorter line at the top for the baseball player's neck. Below the arm, draw a shorter curved line for the front part of the torso.
Step 12: At the bottom of the torso, draw two curved lines for the baseball player's belt. Add a few short, curved, vertical lines across the belt for the pants' belt loops.
Step 13: On top of the hands, draw the bat using two long, sloping lines. Sketch lightly at first to get the shape right. Don't overlap the head. The baseball bat should be behind the head. The top part of the bat should be wide and then gradually get thinner toward the bottom. When you get the shape of the bat right, darken the lines. Make the top part round. Draw a small, curved line below the hand at the bottom for the bottom part of the baseball bat.
Step 14: Below the torso, on the left side, draw a long line that slopes to the lower, left side for the top of the baseball player's leg. On the left side, draw another long, sloping line for the bottom part of this athlete's leg.
Step 15: Below, draw two vertical lines for the lower part of the baseball player's leg. Curve the line on the right a bit for the calf muscle. Close off the shape of the pant leg at the bottom.
