Step 11: Use the D shape as a guide to draw Knuckles' smirk. Make the top part longer and angled. Draw a zigzag line inside for his teeth.

Step 12: Knuckles' dreadlocks are a bit tricky to draw, so they are divided into two steps. First draw a long, curved V-shaped line on the left side of Knuckles' face, right next to his eye, for the first dreadlock. Then draw a line the starts above the right eye, extends over his head and dips down to a point on the far left side of the paper.

Step 13: Draw the rest of Knuckles' dreadlocks by drawing series of three long, curved lines, which sort of resemble the letter V, between the first two shapes.

Step 14: That’s it! You now have a nice sketch of Knuckles. You can stop at this quick drawing for a rough, sketchy look or go for a more finished look by continuing to the step below.

Step 15: For a more finished, inked look, carefully draw over the final sketch lines with a pen or marker. Wait for the ink to dry, and then get rid of every pencil mark with an eraser. Final Step: For a completely finished Knuckles drawing, you have to color it. You can use markers, color pencils or even crayons! Color Knuckles' head red and his eyes blue.
