Step 20: Darken the curved lines that connect the two initial circles to create the Grinch's torso. Draw a series of short, curved lines across the big initial circle for the fluffy lining at the bottom of the suit. Don't overlap the shape of the leg as you draw the curved lines for the lining. Keep the top and bottom edges of the lining close to each other so that the shape isn't too thick. Darken the left and bottom edge of the initial circle to finish the Grinch's body. Add some jagged lines for fur.

Step 21: Draw the shape of the leg around the angled guide line under the Grinch's body. Make the top wide and the bottom thin. Draw a few curved lines at the bottom for the fluffy part of the shoe. Darken the oval for the shoe but make the tip pointy and curve it to the right.

Step 22: Darken the line at the top to create the shape of the Grinch's bag. Follow the path of the guide but make the shape more angular to emphasize the stuff inside. Below the hand, draw a couple of short, vertical lines for the opening of the bag held shut by the fist.

Step 23: Go over the final sketch lines with a pen, marker or any other type of permanent ink. Take your time and be careful when you ink to avoid any accidents. After the ink dries, get rid of every pencil mark with an eraser for a cleaner drawing.

Final Step: Color your drawing using colored pencils, markers or crayons! Use red for the main part of the Grinch's hat, the suit, the shoes, the pupils and the bag. In "Dr. Seuss's How the Grinch Stole Christmas!" cartoon, the Grinch uses gray bags, so you can color your bag gray if you'd like. Color the eyebrows black and the rest of the body green. Add yellow to the eyes. Don't forget to pause the video after each step to draw the Grinch at your own pace.
