Step 6: Draw a series of tiny squares inside the crown for the window openings. These windows should be pretty narrow. Below the ear, draw a line for the neck. Below the neck, draw a circle with a few lines inside for the knot on the robe. To the right, draw a line for the hair. Under the Statue of Liberty's head, finish the neck and top of the robe.
Step 7: On the lower, left side of the head, draw a series of curved lines for the sleeve on the Statue of Liberty's robe. Sketch lightly at first. When you get the shape of the robe sleeve right, darken the lines. The sleeve is made up of several curved lines to indicate the folds and wrinkles on the cloth.
Step 8: Above the sleeve, to the left of the head, draw two long, vertical lines for the arm. The Statue of Liberty's arm should be about as tall as the spikes on the crown. At the top, draw the thumb and fingers using a series of small, curved lines. The fingers are similar in shape to ovals. Below the fingers, draw a V- shaped line for the bottom of the Statue of Liberty's torch.
Step 9: At the top of the fingers, draw a rectangular shape for the top part of the Statue of Liberty's torch. At the top, draw the flame using a couple of curved lines. Add a couple of points to the shape of the flame.

Step 10: Starting at the knot on the top, right side, draw a few lines for the first part of the Statue of Liberty's robe. These lines should be diagonal, and they should end below the sleeve on the left side.
