Step 6: Below the head, draw a long, thin rectangle with the top missing as a guide for Darwin Watterson’s feet. The length of the rectangle should be about the same as the height of the head.
Step 7: Draw a line down the middle of the long rectangle to separate the two legs. On either side of the rectangle, at the bottom, draw an arc for Darwin Watterson’s feet.
Step 8: That’s it for the initial sketch! You have the basic shape of Darwin Watterson from Cartoon Network's The Amazing World of Gumball. Now go in and tighten your drawing. From this point on, press harder with your pencil in order to get darker lines and a more defined sketch.
Step 9: Darken the ovals that make up Darwin Watterson’s eyes. Inside each eye, draw a similar-looking but smaller oval for the pupils and shade them in.
Step 10: Draw three small lines at the top of each eye for the eyelashes. Above each eye, draw a shape that looks like a long, thin oval on its side and shade it in for Darwin Watterson’s eyebrows.
